Fishing Boat Equipment

Every since I was little, I loved being out on a boat. I thought at first it was reserved for the rich, but my family was able to buy into a small boat with some friends. It was a slow, small open bow bayliner, used. But at the time it was great. We could tube behind it and water ski.
When I got older I bought into a toy share business that allowed me to use a boat a few times a summer. This boat could hold 12 people and go 60 mph. It was fast big and powerful. What I like most about it was the marine electronics, particularly the depth finder. The lake I was in was pretty shallow, less than 7 feet in some spots. I always hate to water ski, wipe out and hit the bottom of the lake. So using the depth finder we could avoid those areas of the lake. Particularly when the water level was low.
One thing that was missing, was a gps system. I had a hand held one that kept me from getting lost, but an integrated marine gps system would have been nice. I found a website that sells fishing boat electronics like gps, navigation and communications. www.superfishingmart.com
