Senior Living Honolulu Hawaii
61
I made my first trip to Hawaii when I was 30. We flew standby and stayed at a condo rental on the rocky side of Maui. It also was the week of 9/11. All flights were canceled for a few days. When you are flying standby, that can make one very nervous. Besides the travel, accommodations and terrorist attacks, it was the most beautiful place I had ever been.
The moderate temperatures, the landscaping, laid back atmosphere. All the activities available., scuba diving, snorkeling, gold, tennis, hiking, whale watching, fishing and the list goes on and on. It has been by far my most favorite place to live. I guess that is why so many Senior Living Honolulu Hawaii people live there.
My next trip to Hawaii happened a few years later, this time to Honolulu Hawaii. Honolulu was a much bigger city than anything on Maui, but just as beautiful. This trip we took our two older kids, so no scuba diving this time. We did plenty of snorkeling thought. We even got close to a giant sea turtle and this kids took surfing lessons.
I would love to move to Hawaii now, but probably not until I retire. One place I would love to stay is Kahala Nui. They offer independent living or assisted living in and up to three bedroom apartments.
